We've been delivering the highest quality garments in the industry for over 30 years.
Workrite has earned a reputation for providing the highest quality flame-resistant (FR) garments in the industry. For over 30 years, we have focused exclusively on FR clothing. From the fabrics that we use, to our proprietary techniques in constructing the garment, customers tell us that our FR work wear looks better and lasts longer than anything else available on the market today.

quality is what matters most when it comes to protecting your workers.
There are three key ingredients to a top-quality FR garment. The first ingredient is the fabric you choose, and that it provides the protection you require for the tasks that will be performed. The second ingredient is the pattern and styling, which is critical for a comfortable fit and attractive appearance. The final ingredient is how the garment is actually sewn together, or the construction of the garment, which plays a key role in durability.

Only the highest quality FR suppliers provide materials for workrite garments.

We refuse to compromise safety by substituting proven fabrics with less expensive alternatives.
The Workrite logo stands for quality. That's why we use branded FR fabrics from the most reputable suppliers in the industry. This ensures consistent safety performance over the life of the garment. All fabrics in our garments have passed stringent testing to verify that they meet the standards that apply to their application and use.

We offer the widest range of fabric choices.
Workrite has an entire team of experts who work directly with fabric manufacturers to verify fabric quality, as well as explore the latest in flame-resistant technology. As a market leader in FR, many suppliers bring us their innovations first.

Because of this FR technical focus and expertise, we are able to provide our customers with top-quality garments made from the widest array of fabric choices to match your specific needs. From Nomex to Indura Ultra Soft to PBI/Kevlar to Firewear and more, Workrite makes garments from a vast array of proven FR fabrics to best protect the wearer.

Workrite has never sold a "second."
We only use first-quality fabrics and components, and we inspect 100% of all finished garments before they ship out the door. We've never sold a "second." The garment either meets our standards or we don't ship it.

Workrite holds our material and component suppliers to the highest quality standards in the industry. Our suppliers are required to meet our standards for items such as shrinkage, shade consistency, fabric flaws, and fabric weight. We reject any materials that do not comply with our specifications.

We offer a comfortable fit and attractive styling borne from over 30 years experience.
We've had some time to get it right. Many of the special design features found in Workrite garments come directly from customer feedback. Our designs include features that enhance functionality, fit and comfort. Examples of the types of details you can find in Workrite garments include:

    • Extra long tails on shirts to avoid shirt tails pulling out when reaching overhead
    • Pocket flaps on chest pockets to keep things from falling out
    • Extra large pockets
    • Extra long zippers
    • Roomy fit and cut
    • Banded collars and true front plackets on shirts
    • Action-style backs for ease of movement
    • Details like pencil slots and adjustable cuffs
    • No metal components that come in contact with the skin. All metal parts like snaps or zippers are protected on the inside by another layer of FR fabric.

Workrite also has the widest array of styles and colors in the industry. We have multiple cuts on pants, multiple styles of shirts and coveralls, and a full line of outerwear. We have an extensive product development process that includes prototype development, fit testing and focus groups to make sure we're meeting the needs of the individual wearer. Workrite offers a huge variety of products made from woven, knit, and fleece fabrics to meet the diverse needs of our customers.

Our construction techniques increase durability and extend the life of the garment.

Not all garment construction is the same.
Our industry-leading construction techniques actually extend the life of the durable fabrics from which they are made. Some of the key elements that enhance Workrite's product quality and durability include:

    • Double-needle lock stitching on pockets and flaps to prevent thread from ripping out
    • Triple feld-lock seams on pants that virtually cannot be torn
    • Top-stitched seams on stress areas to shift stress from the thread to the fabric
    • Pockets reinforced with extra layers of fabric to avoid tearing and break-through
    • Stress points reinforced with bar-tacks, such as the corners of pockets or the bottom of zippers
    • No raw fabric edges to prevent unraveling
    • Sewn with FR components such as thread, zipper tapes, and pocketing

Workrite utilizes proprietary automated equipment specifically designed for manufacturing FR garments. Special operations are employed for difficult and highly visible sewing operations such as setting pockets and making collars, pocket flaps, and shirt plackets. This ensures consistent and reproducible appearance, durability and quality.

Our Nomex garments have the look of permanent press for a better appearance.
For our Nomex-based shirts and pants, Workrite utilizes an autoclave process that provides permanent press performance and appearance-retention over the life of the garment.

Workrite is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company.
Workrite is certified to ISO-9001:2000. Workrite achieved a "Best Practice" designation related to goals for our quality objective processes. TUV, our ISO certifying organization, awards a Best Practice designation in less than 5% of its ISO audits.

ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 9001:2000 certification assures that products and processes meet documented standards of quality and consistency. ISO 9001:2000 certification encompasses a comprehensive breadth of operations, including procurement of materials, design and development, product manufacturing, installation, final inspection and testing, employee training and servicing customers. ISO 9001:2000 certification requires that a company set up and document its procedures, then hold itself accountable for complying with them.

Workrite requires our suppliers to maintain extensive documentation about their products, such as manufacturing date, lot designation, specific product characteristics and test results. Our internal processes are equally stringent. For example, every garment we sell can be traced back to specific fabric lots and components using a unique Workrite lot number. If needed, Workrite can trace each garment back to the specific materials from which it was made.

Workrite strongly supports the ISO process, and believes that we have benefited greatly from this 3rd-party certification.

Every Workrite garment is backed by our 1-year workmanship guarantee
