Our Southeastern Regional Account Executive, Shannon Sauls, was kind enough to write a wonderful tradeshow wrap-up that I’d like to share.

Fire Rescue International
Atlanta,GA  August 24-27, 2011

The scene for the 2011 Fire Rescue International Convention was exceptionally well organized, remarkably well attended, and the entire building was replete with Workrite wearing firefighters! The convention boasted 50 very full aisles of vendors representing all aspects of firefighting responsibilities and over 5,000 attendees.

One of the busiest booths in the show was Booth #4241- Workrite Uniforms.  Overwhelmingly, firefighters using Workrite said “I have used Workrite for {mostly more than 10 years} and I love them!” When asked why they loved the uniforms, the top 4 answers were:

  1. They are safer than polyester / poly blends
  2. They fit better/ feel better
  3. They last longer/ cost less than others
  4. They don’t fade like other garments

The recurring question by those not already using Workrite was “How can I get my department into Workrite Uniforms?”

Atlanta Fire Department, one of Workrite Uniforms’ greatest customers, was an excellent ambassador to fire departments from around the world.  As shown above, they were also excellent models for how professional departments present themselves at public events.  Another great customer was Cherokee County Fire Department, here showing a great look guys!  Thanks for your service!

Speaking of service, Hurricane Irene impacted some of the attendance as many firefighters actually left the conference to return to service in their communities back home!  Overall, the conference was a great success at every level, and we look forward to FRI 2012 in Denver,CO at booth # 10103!

Thank you to Shannon Sauls & Jon Storz for representing Workrite so well at FRI –
