In mid-March, I made it down to Anaheim, CA to attend the ASTM F18 Meeting. F18 covers Electrical Protective Equipment for Workers. I’m not only a member of F18, but I also participate on the task group for revisions to the ASTM F1506 standard.
One of the hot-topic issues at the F18 meeting was on garment labeling and the possible inclusion of more detailed information on which mill made the FR fabric and where it was made. This will allow more transparency for the end users.
