Nomex® IIIA Aramid
98% Aramid Fiber, 2% Carbon Filament

Flammable contaminants will reduce the thermal protection of any flame-resistant garment.

    For maximum protection:
    • Wash your new garment before wearing and after each subsequent wearing to thoroughly remove potentially flammable contaminants.
    • Wearing undergarments is recommended with all flame-resistant garments.

Anti-static garments of Nomex® IIIA should be used in conjunction with proper grounding procedures for maximum protection against the threat of spark. Do not remove garments when in a hazardous environment.

Garment Care

  • For correct fit, try garment on before washing or wearing.
  • Wash new garments before wearing and after each wearing.
  • Wash garments of Nomex® IIIA separately from other garments.
  • Wash dark and light colored garments separately.
Machine Wash
Hot Water (Max. 140°F/60°C)
Heavy Duty Detergent
Tumble Dry Low (Max. 160°F/71°C)
  • Do Not Use Chlorine Bleach
  • Do Not Line-Dry in Sunlight

PBI/Triguard™
Fiber content-50% DuPont Kevlar® aramid fiber and 30% Rayon and 20% Hoechst Celanese PBI Fiber.

    • Wash your new garment before wearing and after each subsequent wearing to thoroughly remove potentially flammable fabric processing aides / finishes, greases, oily soil and other flammable contaminants.
    • Wearing undergarments is recommended with all flame resistant garments.
    Garment Care
    • For correct fit, try garment on before washing or wearing.
    • Wash new garments of PBI/Triguard™ before wearing and after each wearing.
    • Wash garments of PBI/Triguard™ separately from other garments.
    • Pre-treat heavily soiled and stained garments with commercial stain remover (non-chlorine containing)
Machine Wash, Hot Water (140°F/60°C)
Heavy Duty Detergent. (Wash pH 10 or lower.)
Tumble Dry Low (Max. 160°F/70°C)
Maximum Drying Time-30 Minutes
Remove Promptly
  • Do Not Bleach
  • Do Not Line-Dry in Sunlight
