Appearance Autoclaved garments have excellent permanent press performance
Good shape retention and low shrinkage
Very good abrasion resistance, edge abrasion and color fastness to laundering
Lightfastness to sunlight can be fair to poor (particularly in light colors)
Comfort Fabrics are light weight compared to conventional and other FR fabrics
Low absorbency but dries quickly. Fabrics can be considered rough and scratchy.
Overall Strengths Very good all-around product for FR industrial uniforms. Good protection. Cost effective due to high durability and wear life. Broad color choices and good appearance.
Overall Weaknesses High up-front cost. Most common complaint is comfort. Some colors fade excessively in sunlight.
