This protective garment meets the requirements of NFPA 2112 standard on Flame-Resistant Clothing for Protection of Industrial Personnel Against Short-Duration Thermal Exposures from Fire.
We recommend that each company establish its own criteria for regular, routine inspection and subsequent repair or retirement of protective clothing. Visual inspection for worn areas, mechanical damage, improper alterations, improper fit, or contamination with flammable substances may be cause for removal from service, as determined by the end user.
For effective protection, flame-resistant garments should be worn as the outer garment, with sleeves down and secured, shirts tucked into pants, and front closure fully secured.
Refer to NFPA 2113 for proper use information. The user is responsible to determine that this garment is appropriate for the intended use and complies with all laws and regulatory standards.

If the garment cannot be properly repaired or contaminants cannot be removed, the garment should be retired. The garment should be removed from service and retired after exposure to flame and heat.
